I am picking up my first GSA on Saturday. I have also bought a GS seat to allow my wife to ride the bike.

My problem is however, will the seat fit in a BWM aluminum pannier ?

Is there someone out there kind enough to try this for me ?

Otherwise i will have to leave the seat for another day and face the wrath of the wife when she can`t try my new bike :)

Thanks

Steve

Swapped my grey seats for black.
Just tie it to the rear. :beerjug:

Yes that is certainly an option.

I am still thinking from my old bikes point of view, where you could not carry anything.

I suppose that with a box on the back it make carrying stuff on the pillion alot more secure.

Thanx for that :)

Always carry a cargo net or 2. You never know how much shopping you may buy:augie

With BM GS's, if you have the boxes you have a perfectly suited platform to carry the most stupidly sized stuff... Last year was all the gear including bag on the rear seat and a chainsaw and accessories bought along the way:D No arguing from van drivers after that:D

If you can get on the bike still, you are not overloaded... you can even make your own backrest!

Have fun:thumb2
