Anyone fitted Michelin Road Pilots to a 1200GS with a Motorrad Concepts hugger in place?
It's just that I'm about to replace the rear Bridgestone Battlewings with one of these tryes and was wanting to know if you have had any issues with the hugger rubbing the tyre.
Reason I ask is that all the other tyres I have fitted to the GS have rubbed on this hugger, to a lesser or greater extent, in the past. Only a problem on the move you understand - hugger does not rub at rest - seems to be due to tight clearances and flex of the hugger when on the move. FYI the Michelin Anakee I had fitted previously suffered from rubbing to the side of the tryre, where as the Battlewing curently in place has been smoothed out on the last centimetre of the outside edge.
