Was thinking of using my ST, but I though I'd read that bikes have to be pre-1980.

I hope to get down again this year, it's a great event and yes, the bike needs to be pre-1980.

my mate blew his vincent up going there
he came home went on his GS 1200 nobody would talk to him

Brilliant event ,been there twice and thinking of going again this year ,but on my BSA not GS

I took an '89 R100 GS no-one really cares so long as it is classic-ish. They only checked for the 5000 curves not the other rideouts.
