I was there on saturday morning on my Guzzi stelvio, my mate on his Triumph sprint, we both got pulled going down the road towards Llangollen. There were four coppers, an unmarked silver BMW estate car and a marked traffic car.
It was a fairly pleasant experience after getting a tug from the Guardia Civil in Spain a couple of months ago. We were told it was to check for stolen vehicles and documentation. All was very polite, but the young copper got a bit agitated when after asking for our names and dates of birth (we didn't have our driving licences with us) when I suggested to my mate to run for it as he had two outstanding arrest warrants. Oh how we laughed when he found out I was retired from the job and my pal still a serving sergeant
