Saw a 54 plate 1150 GS Adventure (silver) parked in the car park at Ingliston today. Anyone on here?

Sadly I think the show may well be my last for a couple of years because there was very little in the way of quality sales. It really does need a reboot. HD, Yamaha, Suzuki, Kawasaki, Ducati were the main brands present. There was. KTM presence along with Husqvarna, Gasgas and something else. KTM’s could be had for a at least £1k off!

Fine but needs improving.

I was on the EDAM stand all day but took the airport bus rather than the bike! :D It was pretty busy which I put down to the decent weather. The main hall was a little better than in previous years, I thought? Some of the dealers/brands had made decent efforts. The accessories? Meh! The usual mix of ... (insert preferred nouns). A hotel stand too (hotel name forgotten though) which is a sign of the times and quite promising, I suppose?

I thought the presence of a stand promoting tooth whitener was hilarious!

I did come across a very interesting Vincent in the club hall. More of that in a future post, I hope.

I gave up on the bike show at ingliston years ago. It’s been really crap since MCN took it over.

I was on the BMW Club stand about 8 or so years ago when I took my (then new) S1000XR

Vowed I’d never go back and so it’s proven.
