MCN Today - 1200GS HP - finally revealed........

It's a beauty!!!
But it won't make me change my r12gs
At least not yet :D

I'm with you Tzes.... it's a great looking bike, but for real world everyday biking..... don't think it's best suited..... i'll be keeping my R1200GS for that....

now if only i had a spare fistful of readies, a second bike would be very inviting.... :D

"RC45" posted these on our local Taiwan forum site, thought I'd share them over here too... Looks much better than the leaked spy shots, but EUR15,000 is a lot of money for a dirt bike... I'll be hanging onto my 12GS for now...

The rims take tubed tyres but can also take tubeless tyres.

There is a second valve hole to allow the use of rim-locks for extreme low pressure riding.

The rear swing arm is 50mm longer than the 1200GS.

There are lots of other little things as well.

First time since the 80 G/S that they have re-written the book again!

Mick.

Sorry but I don't see the appeal at all.

It seems just like an overweight TS175 from the early 80's.

Sorry to be a bit harsh but I'll be keeping my GS.

Have a look on Page Nine.

Only a Wank could associate our Royal Soverign with a 1200 GSHP and we reckon we are Tossers. :D In which case, what's a good title for Them over the Pond.

All the same, a Great Looker, Innit

Overall it looks fantastic. The rear light looks better than the standard 12 but, the bracing for the front beak looks wank IMHO:D

Bike realeased Autumn
TT parts advertised in December (If you're lucky!)
6-9 months wait for your parts delivery (If you're even luckier!):D

ahh - but isn't it already released in good old Germany?

So TT should get one of the first to be able to have the gadgets ready for autumn :)

Yep, the FIRST person in the world to be talking about *PROPER R1200GS BIKES* and how much better the old ones were than the cack we're getting from BMW nowadays!

:D :D :D
