Fitted a hid kit to my megamoto.
50w 6000k car kit.
Got an extra wiring loom so I could make up 2 full bike kits.
HID50.com wanted £129 plus p+p for 1 kit, got 2 kits off ebay for £100.
That means I have a spare kit for sale too if anyones interested for £50 plus p+p.
They look fantastic and the light they give off seems 10x brighter than standard.
Changed the pilot light also to a daylight one and it matches perfectly.
The slightly bluish light also enhances the bike looks.
Behind the headlight there is loads of room for the ballast.:D

But don't forget UKGSER members get discount from HID50.com :D and the H4 kits are only for bikes, with bike specific looms :thumb2

Good job Bengaz. I'm interested.

What do you get in the kit? Any considerations for Euro headlamps that dip to the right?

In the kit is the burner, ballast, relay to opperate the solenoid (hi/lo beam) and a full wiring loom that will suit ANY 12v car or bike (with H4-3 lamp type).
Everything you need.

Not sure about euro regs sorry:( This is just a replacement bulb, not the full headlamp so not sure if it would change anything?

Hi Bengaz, how easy is it to fit the whole system, that may seem like a silly question but from the background of your garage, you could very well be an electrician, installation may be second nature to you.
How simple is it for anyone else to do ?

I am, but its still all plugs in.
The only connection you need make is a positive and negative permanent supply across battery or wiring loom.
I took a permanent supply to the headlight cover anyway to wire in 2 BMW accessory plugs, for sat nav and tank bag power.

you will get a lampf sign, saying the front bulb is out. I have been told that a small resister cures this but the warning is not illuminated and the advantage and cost of the HID far outweighs the small detail.
Ive rode with it all year and disregarded it after the first day.
