can i convert a megamoto to enduro,do they share the same chassis.what would be needed tosort the suspension out.cheers

My guess would be the suspension would have less travel on the moto

can't say it sounds totally the right thing to do, yes it could be done but the question has to asked why bother.

it's got to be simpler to just get a HP2e and be done with it.

well that's an answer to the question why bother...?

"Cos I can get a shagged one for 1500 nikka!"

Here you go

MEGA SMALL.jpg

MEGA TARRENGNIG.jpg

Dump the expensive head light, one advantage of the Mega is it has a better power delivery than the HP2e I believe

Going the other way...

By funny coincidence I just added Enduro tank panels, with some nice paint, to my Megamoto. http://www.hp2.info/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=78

Most of the threads here are by folks who like to get out in the mud, and growing up in the New Forest I can certainly appreciate the goodness and sense of that in the UK, but here in sunny California where the roads are more open and deserted than the north west of Scotland, I have no need or desire to leave the tarmac!

And your a stones throw from baja? absolute sacriledge!!!!!:eek:

True, but that isn't a place to take a Megamoto, it is more a Land Cruiser and camp trip. You need a lot gear, and supplies down there, surf boards, cameras, telescopes etc. I love Baja, and have been many times, but wouldn't do it on a bike without a full posse and a back up vehicle or three!

Hiya, Moly,

How did you put 50mm in place of the stock 45mm forks? You modified the triple?

Appreciate the info.

Cheers
