Trying to reduce the ride height so my wife can have a go of my Megamoto.

Undid the locknut and turined the upper nut clockwise - pretty stiff.

Turned it as far as it would go which didn't seem much.

see the pictures - is this the lowest?

Any advice in case I'm being thick - don't want to graunch anything.

should be no threads showing at its lowest - see page 54 of the handbook. Also you will need to drop the front.

Done the front.

I must be doing something wrong because after undoing the locknut and then turning the upper nut clockwise, that's as far as it goes.

Should I slacken anything else?

I assume you turned the (lower) lock nut all the way anti-clockwise up to the top before turning the top nut clockwise down?

Dont think so.

Sorted it, the threads must have had a bit of oxidation, I'd sprayed some WD40 on the threads and left it and then came back and moved the nut back and forth a few times and it started to move.

Just didn't want to damage anything.

Thanks for the help.
