On our recent wee tour we happened on the Melvaig Inn. A great wee place north of Gairloch. Good food, good beer, friendly staff and a one off kind of place.
We just had to go for the seafood platter and whole lobster - one of the best meals we've ever had. Fantastically cooked and as fresh as fresh can be.
If you're up that way make sure you stop in.
Booking recommended though to avoid disappointment - lots of people tried on the spur of the moment but left hungry.
