messed up my locks - help

so i got two barrels with my new ali top box
i followed bmws instructions and fitted pins so the fits in and none pertrude.
put barrels into locks. one wont turn at all. one turns a bit but doesnt seem to be fitted in all the way, about 2mm short of going in all the way
to make things worse i cant get the buggers back out to see whats wrong.
the key fits in lovely but doesnt turn.
can anyone help?

got barrel out that was protruding. think it wasnt in right.
cant get other one out. properly fast in, cant see any pin to press in to release it. looks like a trip to the dealers

I don't know for sure....but I think one of the tags is meant to remain protruding....the last one near the end of the barrel I think.

I think I'd have asked my local friendly dealer to show me how to do this..mine was glad to show me....and still decided it was best he did it!
