Picked up a lovely set of MMs from a fellow tosser. Research said they’d fit my Touratech frames but that doesn’t seem to work in practice. Anybody done this before I get the precision lump hammer out to fix it?
Thanks

Where don't they fit?

Is the basic rectangular frame correct in shape for the 4 sides? I have a memory that the only thing that is wrong is that one of the lower pannier 'brackets' (the aluminium/neoprene U shapes) fouls a strut on the frame and that the aluminium bracket just needs trimming by an inch?

Yep, square frame is the same. There is a reinforcing strut on one side of the frames that joins where the mounting bracket on the pannier holds the frame. I guess trimming would work. I’ll have a look. Thanks

I have similar - will nip out and take a photo of what was done to mine, if they ain't on a high shelf.

Thanks Blackal. I’ll put the lump hammer down and get the hacksaw.

Looks like one of the top brackets could also need a cut-out

Different bike but same arrangement ie MM panniers and TT frames but I just moved the necessary brackets (2 on each pannier iirc) over a bit. I drew lines on the back of the pannier so I got the alignment correct, removed the brackets on the pannier and drilled a couple of holes per bracket in the rightish place, I made the holes a bit elongated to give a bit of wiggle room (standard holes are like that). I sealed it all up with silicone using very short bolts and thin nuts with rubber washers in the old holes.
