Metzeler Lasertec Tyres

Anybody got any experience of Metzeler Lasertec tyres, not specifically on a GS but on any type of bike.

they look rather like an update of the old metzeler ME33/77s which were great tyres.

I've been running my 1975 Z1-B on Metzler ME33 Lasers (front) for the past ten years. Great tyres with adequate levels of grip, excellent in the wet and extremely good wear rate - I get about 12,000 miles from a front, 6000 rear. I believe these have been replaced by the Lasertecs but they have exactly the same tread pattern. I'm about to get a replacement so will be fitting the Lasertecs. I've also run them (ME33's) on a R80RT and found them to be equally good. Rear is a ME99 which is again a similar tread pattern to the Lasertec's.
