Metzeler Tourance 120/70 and 170/60 (Not Next)

I also found the latest Anakee Adventures to perform similarly to the Tourances I had on previous bikes.

Cheers

So went for the Avon Trail Riders in the end. Took it out Friday eve for the first time, dry weather and good combination of highway, B-roads, potholes and long and sharp bends. Performed very well and even still new I felt confident. What I like in a 80/20 or 90/10 tyre is that it mask some of the imperfections in the road surface. I remember how the same road felt with the Battleax A40 which are 100% road tyres. Hopefully will get another longer ride in this week and then see how they are in the wet next weekend.

I too went with Trailriders and now have 1K or so on them and very happy.

On second rear Trailrider, front looks like it’ll do for 2 rears.
Also was a big fan of Tourance original, was my go to tyre for last 12 years or so, went Avons as could find Tourance when I wanted them

Spoke to Perelli which owns Metzeler now and they said they stopped manufacturing the size we need for the 1200GS LC and would start up later again but didn't have any dates. So me think they probably want to push the other new versions of the Tourance.
