Had a puncture in rear tyre yesterday I managed to get bike home and have decided to replace the trailwing tyre for something better. On trawling through the various tyre threads it seems that most of the information relates to the bigger GSs. One tyre that seems to be the most popular is the Tourance. My riding is almost exclusively road with the odd gravel road on occasion. So what is good for the bigger GSs I am presuming will be good for my 700 GS?
Do any smaller GS owners (bike not personal height:D) have a different view/recommendation? Cheers

Hi I have a f650GS Twin , 18, 000 miles on Tourances , first set lasted about 8k and second set still on.
Nothing but praise , Im a road rider, only off road I do is campsites. In Dec 13 I was caught out in 4" of snow, tyres were great, no dramas. The back will square off if you do lots of flat stuff, but if you keep it twisty you will maintain a good rear profile.

Hello, I have a F700GS and use Tourances after the factory fitted Bridgestones wore out. I use the bike all year around mainly on the road and have found them to be extremely good even fully loaded and riding from Ullerpool to Bedfordshire in 11 hours stopping only for fuel. As Steve states the back does square off if you do lots of flat stuff but they grip right to the edge. I get about 8500 miles on the rear and about 9000 miles on the front. Halfa 1200.
