MFW Vario Adjustable Foot Pegs

Anyone tried these on an 1150gs ?
I am over 6' 6" and find my feet are all little to close to my bum for comfort on long journeys. I really feel it in my knees now, I'm not as young as I used to be so was thinking of giving them a go. They come in 23mm, 30mm & 50 mm lower not sure which to try, is it just a case of adjusting the linkage on the gear shifter to match?

I'm 6'2

And after putting some fast way pegs ( in the lower position) and a touratech firm seat on it she's now perfect. I'd like to put the adv shocks on it but can't justify the money.
