Hello

Does anyone know what the tyre pressures for the Anakee 2 should be for the GS1200 solo and two up with luggage?

Thanks, Dave:)

Same as the original Anakees. According to Michelin UK, when I asked them about this in summer.

I'd set them at 36 F / 42 R. I find that anything much under that makes the steering a bit too heavy and imprecise for fast swervery.

anakee 2

I have been very happy with my anakee's and anakee 2's that I have had on my 1200 adv. The front tyre wear was not as good as I would have liked but the ride and so on (which counts for me) has been excellent.

What's the feedback on these tyres - any good?

Personally i feel they are very good - at the moment at least. Seem to grip very well to big lean angles in the dry and almost the same in the wet.

Good ride quality too.

Wear rate is so-so, so far. Just did 1150 miles (mostly motorway) and the rear was noticeably squared off after it but i'll soon even it out!:D:augie

The also 'look right' on the GS, which helps too.

HTH:)
