Microphone help wanted for Apple Macbook Air.

My son uses his macbook air in college and now wants to record his lectures for help wth study. So we are looking for advice on an external mike. Thanks.

All I have used for my Mac Air is the apple headset/mic combi you get with the phone it works fine for skype, teamspeak etc, why not try this and see if it will pick up the lectures before you buy another mic, of course thats only if you have one already

You need a decent directional mic otherwise the lecturers voice will be drowned out by russling sweetie wrappers and snoring.

This is also my opinion. I'll look at the apple store as I'm sure I saw some there.
