Heres a link to the candidate1 release of vista if anyones interested. Theres a link via a downlad manger on the main page but I just used the normal ie link which is on the right

http://download.windowsvista.com/preview/rc1/en/download.htm

I should imagine its got a time restriction of 30 days.
candidate1 is as near to the done deal as you can get so for anyone interested it should be realtively stable and worth a peep.

Im putting it on a separate machine to play with and get used to but not recommended as your main os.........................obviously :thumb

'Morning Redcastle, at the end of June this year I installed Vista from a dvd with a 12month licence bought from M/soft, it crashed about 4 times before I worked out that the 'recommended' antivirus program from PCcillin was the cause.

I got all the updates etc, but I still found it to be a pain in the butt, it looks nice but the only other word I can think of to describe it is 'clumsy'. I've reverted back to XP.

If anyone would like to try it I'll sell them my genuine microsft version with product key for half price plus £1.99 registered delivery which equals £8.
2 DVD's one 32 bit installation and one for 64 bit installation, it's Labelled 'Windows Vista Beta 2 Customer Program'. The licence was will last until the end June 2007.
