Anyone know much about these? I'm looking to get the one that double clicks to toggle, rather than the click and hold. NippyNorman has both however I must be asking the wrong questions.

Here's the situation.

I have 2 pairs of slaved lights. Set 1 is a pair of haolgens slaved to the main beam with a relay that is energised by the main beam feed. These always come on with the main beam. Set 2 is a pair of HIDs slaved to a relay via a toggle switch on the dipped beam feed, therefore I can have the HIDs off while the dipped beam is on.

The first switch (5NB) has an action that requires the cancel indicator button to be pressed for about a second. The second (5NB2) works with a double click on the indicator cancel button which is what I want to control set 2 with.

I can use the long hold output on set 1 if required but set 2 are the only lights I absolutely require to control via the switch and I want to contol them with a double click action.

What I need to know is:-
Does 5NB2 require 5NB to work?
Does 5NB2 have 2 outputs that both need to be fitted?

Many thanks,

David

Both Autoswitches have the same wiring setup and work the same except for the "two short presses" or "one long press" :)
You can add 50V 1A diodes into the control circuits if you want to set it up with greater control over the actions.

I had a little think and came up with a rough wiring diagram. I've only shown the one setup (high beam circuit). This setup would allow you to run with just the standard lights on if you wanted but you wouldn't be able to have the auxilliaries on unless the corresponding high or low beam was on. Hope this helps :thumb2

So all I need is a 5NB2 (the double click version). Thanks for clearing that one up.
