https://www.raliceredigion.co.uk/spectators/#timetable has been selected as a round of the FIA Euro Championships. Based in Aberystwyth, with stages around Llyn Brianne & Nant y Moch.
The traffic heading west to the coast from Welshpool is always heavy on a sunny Friday but even heavier today. I was heading to Aberdyfi for lunch but bailed out and rode some backroads instead.
This is the road from Machynlleth to Llyn Clywedog. Last month, I was riding this in cloud!

Called into Aberystwyth this morning and they were setting up the stages on the prom ready or the Rallye
.

Nant y Moch is all set up for a stage along with what appears to be a safety boat just in case someone decides to go for an early bath

I almost went to Nant y Moch today,glad I changed and went back roads to Llandrindod Wells instead.

Rode that route yesterday, great views. Aber was busy around McDs yesterday morning as the Parc Ferme is just opposite. Many road along the seafront were closed for race preparation.

The same weekend as last year.

I watched the stage around Nant y Moch, they certainly shifted as they went around there. It was a scorching day, I walked 7 miles to get a good view point.
