Good ride over, even if the rain was a bit cold and stinging and the traffic was incredibly heavy from the Ashbourne turn off all the way to Kegworth. The X Country is light and slim, so I could filter quite happily. I thought I would be well ahead of the pack getting there 15 minutes early - ha, Derek and co were already well down their mugs! Nice breakfast and good to see folks again. Thanks for organising - I'll do one in the spring over at the Newlands Farm Shop again, followed by another ride on different roads, if people would like it.
