Just got one of these spanky light bars from that very fine chap, Rob Farmer (excellant service mate!).
The finish looks pretty good, but does it deterioate over a period of time or shall i get it powder coated to match the bike (ie Silver)

Any sensible replies would be appreciated

Cheers

I thought the finish looked rough at first (ie not going to stay looking good) but had it on now a little while and still looks mighty fine I prosume they are sand blasted stainless.

Yes indeed, it is 4mm stainless steel. It is matt because it is sandblasted.

You may get a little rusty spot here or there because of steel particles in the sand they have used, but if you brush that off it's fine. The bar itself will not rust.

If you prefer coating it, that's fine of course but there is no need to.

Cheers,
Michel

Hey chaps,

Luke - just send a PM to migsel and he will sort you out. The bars are superb. I have one on my bike if you want to look. I'm around for most of the weekend.

I have one on my bike for a year now and it hasn't changed colour. (Ride it through all kinds of weather)

... and Michel, thanks again for this one: (I was finally able to install it)

We like pictures! Looking good GS`rs. What are your recommendations for suitable type Aux lamps to go with the mounting bar then chaps? Anyone got helpfull wiring hints? I reckon I`d be happy having one set of spots hard wired to the dip beam (always on?). Are the connections easy, I`ll be doing it myself so any useful pointers greatfully received!:thumb
