Fitting a Migsel mount today to my 1150GSA. Fairly straightforward to be fair, albeit the Speedo cable was a bit of a fiddle.

There are two bolts that secure the actual speedo into the housing attached to the bike. With the Migsel mounted the bolts on the back of the speedo no longer reach through to the back of the bracket to secure it to the bracket.

Anyone else find this to be an issue? Little bit of a head scratcher at the moment.

Flip it..

The collar that goes under the speedo is 2mm I think. Bolts are long enough. Unless you mount it upside down..

So the Migsel has the articulated bracket in situ at the top. And the recess for the trip wheel is where it should, the trip wheel is exposed. I may be having a blonde moment. But can’t see at moment how flipping it helps. But I’ll certainly give it a try and study it. Worthy of note is that the speedo now sits proud of the other dials by the thickness of the Migsel. Hence the bolts not proud of the bracket.
