Migsel side stand?

Here you go

A great bit of kit.

Thats a leak from the oil pressure switch.

i have a shore foot side stand on my bike that a local guy weld on to my frame for me. work great as i found the normal one to be rubbish.

but i still have to get off the bike to use the stand becouse of the lean angle but with the stand up the foot is just under the rear peg.

I've got a Migsel with an ice hockey puck on both mine..............dear but absolutely the best. Surefoots need to be cut off the mounting frame and re-welded at the right angle and then extended!

Another vote for Migsel stand, expensive but very good. It's adjustable too so you can get the right angle you want for your bike depending upon the height of it ( mine's a big suspension special).

Mine has just arrived, what a cheap and nasty piece of tat :D

Amazing quality item, even lets you choose to have it it in flick up or stay down mode, great stuff.

It is heavy though.

Migsel Stainless Sides Stand

I've been trying to find Migsel to see if he's still making these as I really, really, really hate the original stand that's on my PD. I've tried sending him emails at [email protected] but no replies :-(. If anyone knows him, or has an alternative address or phone number then there is a customer eager and willing to part with the money.

Here's the bike by the way (that's if I've got the uploading bit sorted and if not apologies in advance!)

You'll find him in the for sale diction as he has his HP2 MM for sale at the moment

Hi airhead GS'ers,

Finally some good news: I have found a new source for producing the MigStand!

A new batch can be expected to be ready in about 6 weeks.

Can't answer that yet, sorry. It's a bit early for an exact price.

Full order details in a few weeks.

I have a couple of these stands

They feel chunky and would work well with a standard swing arm bike.

However I have used them on an extended monolever bike which is considerably higher. The threaded section with the foot at one end is not long enough, so there is very little overlap inside the main outer tube.

This obviously weakens the stand and I have one main tube bend like a banana, and my second one is now doing the same.

I think this happens when leaning the bike on dirt and sometimes the ground gives, causing the bike to tild over and put more weight onto the stand.

Should all be solvable with an extended threaded section for taller airhead dirtbikes.
