Migsel side stand?

What are the changes between the new run and the one that ras has? I only ask because I'll have a very similar bike to ras and don't really want a bent side stand ? I'm happy to put in a longer threaded piece if you think that will work

There is no significant change.
I don't know how he managed to bend the stand, it is the only reported problem in many years and many stands sold.

If there is more than one nut/bolt, you'll be in trouble !

I could always ride over to see you, let you do it while I drink tea and dunk biscuits, whilst watching a true craftsman at work. You could even give me an opinion on what the metallic rattle is on my bike. Fecked if I can tell what it is.

If rattle is in the head on one side, it is usually the rocker shaft roller bearings ( or worn cam followers) Then again, my alternator worked itself a tad loose last year and that sounded 'rattly' !!

Having just watched the MOT tester futz around trying to get my G/S on its stock stand and then drop it whilst sitting on the bike (and in truth i have nearly done that a good few times myself) I feel that a purchase of one of these is imminent. Any update as to when they will be available?

My g/s and St are pretty much identical 'down there'. I'd be suprised it any changes had to happen but with that said I haven't tried it in the St.
