So I put migsel footrests on the gs a couple of years ago. They were fine but the gearshift was a pain. I guess I was being a cheapskate not altering the shifter. Anyhow, I've just fitted their roller shift conversion thing. What a difference! Super comfy positive shifts. I'm a happy man.

The roller action took a good ride to get used to but I think its great.

I have one of those on the R80G/S installed by its previous owner (Rip) Arkwright.

I have since installed lowered foot pegs so I am interested on how to lower the rear brake pedal that sits too high?

Thanks Gerry

The pedal has an adjuster bolt so lowering it a bit is no problem within reason.
The other part of the problem is the lowered foot rests move the position of your foot out making it difficult and unnatural to operate.

Thanks Mike

I have no issues with the gear leaver but I will check for adjustment.

I suspect my problem with the brake leaver relates to the bike coming to me from Duncan with it being fitted to the outside of the frame!

This means it doesn’t need a “Charlitech” plate to extend the pedal. However, I have to lift my foot slightly to use the pedal.

I will look to see if I can improve the adjustment otherwise it may need its shape changed.
