My Dakar had 50,000 miles on when I sold it ... running perfek :thumb

Sue's last F650GS did some 80,000 miles before she wrote it off, It was running well when she hit the car head on

Just pick a nice one and ride it :thumb

Quite a few suffer from water pump failure (rotex using plastic parts) but this is typically high mileage bikes. Problem probably excerbated by running in high heat (i'd just done a 50c desert trip before failure on way home).

Mine (Micky's old one) failed at 62,000. Felt like it would do another 62,000 once fixed. The engine felt solid. I wouldn't buy one and then worry the engine was going to blow up.

Rotax engines are tough,Mine has done 105k without fault,But it's the older proper funduro with carbs,I would only change it for a twin spark gs never single plug,as the have lots of niggers in the software ie stalling/ surging and poor idling. It's not just about the xtra plug.
