just to let you all know!
i have just ordered a shiny new tyre fitting machine.:D:D
so please bear me in mind when you next need some new rubber.
i have accounts with the big wholesalers and can get most makes and sizes next day.i will try to be as competetive as possible on price ,but if i cannot match an online price i will be happy to mount /balance your own purchases.
ride in ride out or fit to loose wheels.
this applies to tubeless tyres.
if you want a price for tube type just ask.but i dont like doing them and you need the practice:beerjug:

Great stuff Mikey and a much needed service in the east mids. Ill be in touch over next few weeks for a pair of tyres for my 100/7

Good luck with this though I doubt you'll need it :beerjug:

Tubed type on the machine are easy, but you have to remove the tube once the first bead is removed from the rim, then once the tube is out then remove the second bead,

Putting back it's first bead on, then inner tube, using one of these valve pullers, you feed it through the valve hole and screw into the valve stem and pull through,

Bit of talc on the tube, push in tube all around, then fit the final bead, re fit valve then blow up, they can be difficult to seat the bead, on a guzzi spada last week it took 80 psi:eek:

i am fully aware that you CAN fit tube tyres with a machine, however who gets to pay for the £20 heavy duty tube when the demount head catches it on removal:D.(you have no idea where the tube is resting until you rotate the machine, inner tube vs 3 hp motor no contest:blast)
i think i will stick to doing customers tube tyres by hand.or let them do it themselves with some coaching from me,lets face it, if you ride any distance on tubed tyres you need to know how to swap an inner tube:thumby::thumby:
