Bored this morning.

Equally boring questions:

How many of you every-single-day-diehard-GS ADV Riders utilise their machine on a motorway on the every day commute?

Wha sort of MPG do you see on these journeys?

60 mile round trip, 3 miles b roads, 10 miles A roads and the rest on fairly congested (is there is any other type) M way, get about 45 to the gallon, it'll drop a little now with a race can, chip etc etc but only yo maybe 40/42.

That'd be me...

Bath to East Swindon throughout the working week...

Really can't stick the M'Way (M4) at the best of times and now with the introduction of the permanent mobile camera squad it's become more like the glorified car park that the M25 can be in the morning.

Still it'll probably improve the fuel consumption (slower avergage cruising speed and less buffeting) which currently sits around 45mpg.

That's with about 50% motorway on the daily 40-mile e/w commute.
