I've been to Granada a few times but never knew of the existence of that place.![]()

The map above shows to the north of the Sierra Nevada, better riding is to the south in the Alpujarra. A nice place to stay is Hotel Finca Los Llanos in Capileira (the village is at almost 1500m). Attached is a 4 hour round trip of 100 miles, over half on very narrow but entertaining roads. The route takes you through Orgiva, which is close to where Chris Stewart lives.Got a route, mate?

On Richards first post, the last pic of the map of the area, is a small town called Beas de Granada. The last couple of years we have stayed at a small (less than 20 pitches) motorhome site for a week in February. Had some lovely weather and last year we took the bike with us and did that route one day. What a superb day out. A day of two halves...going clockwise from near Orgiva, the top part of the loop is slow but some incredible roads and views. The bottom half coming back was all swooping bends and superbly surfaced and traffic free. A great 200 mile day for us.The map above shows to the north of the Sierra Nevada, better riding is to the south in the Alpujarra. Thats a long rideGreat and thanks.
The intention of the very basic map in post #4 was to take bods from Grenada (the nearest decent sized town / city) to the one specific location, the subject matter of the thread. Hopefully, it will help bods to find tge site.
It was never intended to be a definitive guide to the best riding anywhere in the area.
I’ll create you a thread in the accommodation section.
