Mine's gone all stiff............

......anyone else had / got this problem???????

My top-box lid has suddenly become very stiff to open and close. I've tried the usual WD40 and such like on the hinges to no avail.

Any ideas, other than replacing the hinges??

Mine are still working OK.

How about trying some silicone spray? Seems to be far slippier than WD.

What top box is it? Metal one? could it have gotten slightly bent inbetween the hinges. My GSA was stiff but a bit of lube sorted it

Sorry, should have said. It's a BWM plasticky type top-box and I'm sort of worrying as it's starting to strain where the hinges are attached.
