A question, if I cut the standand cable that comes with the Ipod, Ipod Connector/6pin Firewire, then work out +ve/-ve, Byrn's mate has told us which is which and how to check, will it burn out the unit ?.
Found a place in the States selling the cable and Power unit for the car for $22, delivered and insurance.
Your comments and ideas would be a great help for us all.
