Funny that, I think it was the same day we went to Ballycastle last year ?
will it be early enough that a lad could get to kells as well, say a fish breakfast dash

I am sorry for MFD-1 (Mini-Fish-Dash-One) clashing with so many worthwhile outings!
The Passport-less One will work it out, I am sure, he is heading for Thurles himself the same day.
I am flying back the next morning so no-can-do, unfortunately!

i can still hear a mad Aussie trainers words ringing in my ears everytime i do a slalom - we were at an ADAC track in Frankfurt and his course was known as "The Omen" coz you'd have yer head on backwards looking to the next point in the circuit!
i'm half way round and he, seeing my somewhat bow legged 'technique' shouts at me
Close yer legs - ya look like a ten dollar hooker!

The detail....
The Mini Dash will start next Saturday morning (17th) from the Esso station on the N11 just south of the Cabinteely / Johnstown Road intersection (IO 23879 24324). We’ll be leaving there at 09.30 & travelling in a clockwise direction to Newcastle where we’ll have a wee stop before continuing to Howth, arriving there about 12.30. We’ll be parking in the carpark opposite Beschoffs (IO 28500 39283) if anyone wants to join us there.
After our ‘one & one’
we’ll be heading south along the coast as far as Dalkey before turning inland to finish near Cherrywood by 14.00.
Ravenbyrne & Spear Ruler have generously offered a cuppa in their place (well Brian has & I guess Geraldine will know by now) to anyone who fancies one before heading off home / Thurles / etc 
They're just a couple of minutes from the finish so it's very handy.
As usual a full tank & an empty bladder are required at the start point
