Mini Foot Pump?

check out Nippy Normans
I know nothing about this but saw it on the site today.

The toughest and smallest mini pump in the world !

Developed in Germany by pump experts Bikers Dream and designed to work reliably in the worst conditions.
Look at these features:

Compact but VERY powerful.
Aluminium barrel.
High volume mode for faster inflation.
Built in acurate digital gauge.
Dual valve head also suitable for cycle valves.
Adaptors for air beds and footballs.
1 metre hose.
handy nylon carrying bag
Weight - 550 grams
Size when packed - 19cm x 10cm x 8cm.

TESTED
Inflates a rear R1200GS tyre from 0 psi to 38 psi in less than 3 minutes !

STOP PRESS !
Used by many round the world trips

Got one; bugger to put on stem, the digital gauge died within seconds though it did put air in my tyre (how much was anybody's guess at the time). I will keep it as it is relatively lighweight and will get air in a tyre, but for me it's an emergency jobbie to get me somewhere for a better solution.

Hope that helps.

Yes I have one also and had same problem till I wrote to nippy and he sent me some instructions from the manufacturer.
You have to hold down the on switch and you will find the guage resets and works fine.
No issues attatching to the valve providing you use the flexi hose that comes in the pack.
Takes up no space at all and really good if your ANAL about your tyre pressures on a 10 day trip eg. Like me :rob

I opted for the mini foot pump and carry it in my pannier along with a tire plug kit. Never had to use it, but I think it will serve if (when) I need it.

The-lower-tech-the-better works for me, when it comes to fixing a flat in the middle of BFE. :D

I got a cheap 12v tyre inflator from a garage. I think it was £2.99 with 25 litres of fuel or something:D

Works a treat but it won't work off the standard plug on a 1200 as it's draws too many amps. I have a seperate plug wired direct to the battery and no problem.

I've got one of these and the tubular framework bent very easily,:blast not overly impressed with its durability.
