The cliff road was really good and flowing with lots of really good scratching corners left and right. The road followed the med sea for the last part until i reached Riomaggiore. Lovely little town and part of the Cinque Terre. An area of outstanding beauty and a World Heritage site. 5 villages joined together by a cliff path or train.

opss

Those pics never loaded but no worries you didnt miss much..

Its started raining again so ill carry on for a bit..

Left Riomaggiore dead early to have a good run before the traffic turned up. 6am was a great idea. Headed along the coast road west and what a great road it was winding along the cliffs, shame i didnt stop for pics again....
No one about just me and the GS. Plan was to hit the auto route and get to the mountains as soon as id finished having fun on this road or got to Genova. The road spat me out a little early and has about 20 miles to Genova on the auto. Followed the Auto all the way to Giaglione and then onto the ss25 to the Rhone Alpes. This for me was going to Val D'isere.
Past the Lac Du Mont Cenis

Now this is my fav part. The Col De Sainte Barnard is awesome, Ive wanted to do this road for years and skied and boarded many parts inthe winter. The pass to the top is so much fun, just a series of twist and turns that you can see most of the way, its just a scratch left scratch right flip flop when taken fast!! loved it.
