MISFIRE RECALL-Not safety Related

Had my GS serviced yesterday. They carried out a 'recall notice' change. Relates to a wire(s) under the cylinder head which can fray(?) and cause a misfire under extreme circumstances. I think they just re-route the cable(s). My friends brand new RT developed a misfire last week in bad rain.
 
I had the same thing. Apparently it's 'the oxygen sensor cable and the HT lead to the second plug interfering with each other' or some such. As it's done about 3k miles from new...I said...gimme an oil change/filter too....£59! :anger
