Misfiring 1150GS

Hi Guys, my GS was difficult to start today and duly flattened the battery(no surprise there) I then used a car battery and jump started it.It fired up second press of the starter but is misfiring badly,I took out the plugs which were quite sooty and changed them but the problem has not gone away! Could the battery (which is showing a 'weak condition' on my optimate) be causing this misfire or is it more serious?? Thanks

single or dual plug?

If its the dual plug head you may have a dodgy coil stick?

It's the single plug model

You say you jump started it ...... did you lift the fuel tank .. check the R/H throttle cable

Ha ha that's something most of us have experienced. I've done it more than once.
