last time I rode It, great. Loaded top box and set off for the weekend, and dammit, Serious missfire, no power, no acceleration, backfiring, so got to test the recovery service in the morning. Anyone else had this sympton or used recovery?

PS it is a yellow one

Dunno if it is the same with 1200... but what about the throttle cables not seated properly??

Sounds like it could be one of the coils coming off the top of one of the spark plugs. Remove plastic covers over the spark plugs and check the HT lead things are seated on the plugs correctly.

Thanks.

Got a Techy from BWM Assistance arriving around lunchtime (good job I was not stuck on the mountains in a snow storm) I phoned in at 0845 this morning. Still not too bad I suppose, I'll post results and verdict later. Thanks again for advice, and Tobers I should have asked you on Sat. morning at brekky :)

Spot on, Tobers :beerjug: Right hand plug lead connection off. Easy when you know how, crappy idea though with the vibes of a boxer injin
