Having been using Mitas tyres on my trail bikes for some years now, and having been pleased with grip performance and tyre life (3200 miles on one rear), I am pleased to see Mitas have released several other tread patterns and sizes to suit the bikes most folk use on this site. The E09 Dakar and E10 Adventure tyres seem good alternative to the Pirelli and Michelin tyres available, and the prices are a lot cheaper.
So, I've put an enquiry in to Trellesport regarding a group purchase and hopefully they can supply some discount if we buy in a large batch order, as that's how we have had the C02/C13/C19 tyres in the past.

I await reply.......

Timpo.

I'll need a new C02 for the 640 and imagine we could mix and match to get the same deal.

I rode the Serow, with some sort of Mitas knobbly on the front and it was lethal in the wet and would slide under braking & lock the front up on tarmac:eek:

Just wondered if this was normal, was a tad off-putting:blast:augie

This new-to-me XR has AC10 Michelins and I'm pretty pleased with them, so far

probably down to crap suspension:D

C02 on the rear is awesome, last forever, grips like woman shot putter's thighs and much cheaper than AC10s which I used to use.

I hated it, in the wet:eek:

Which Mitas do you use on the front? CO2?

No I'm using a Michelin Enduro Competition on the front of the Husaberg because that's what I had and it's great.

I'm sure Timpo's using Mitas on the front of his XC and DRZ, not a C02 though!

ISTR Gwyn Barraclough of Off Road Skills telling me, earlier this year, that he runs Trellesport. Nice guy.....:thumb2

I'm up for a couple of C19s, and possibly a C02.

I think you have to order 10 tyres from them to start to benefit.
