I'm off to Morocco fairly soon, and am going to use a Mitas E07 Dakar rear. My first thought was to go with an E10 front, but I'm wondering whether an E07 front might be OK?

Any thoughts either way?

E07's are a great compromise, acceptable off Tarmac and stable on.
Haven't used E10's but put an E09 on the front and it made motorway riding
a dice with death! and that was with no luggage!
Also got 5,500 miles out of a pair of E07's, then the front went weird, felt flat even @ 2.2bar. Rear still had life in it but replaced as a pair.
Tried a USA Fullbore M40 rear, good on road but only2,500 miles to worn out.
In summary, yes I would reccomended a pair of E07's,having said that I haven't ridden the Morrocan sand on them just good old UK mud & rock.
