MM BATTERY RECOMMENDATION

Hi all.

In need of replacement battery for the MM.
Any reason not to buy an EBAY YUASA lead acid?

I'm not riding the bike a huge amount.............

Any suggestions/feedback appreciated.

Battery

I have had good luck with the yuasa ytz14s sub-brand motocross. It's inexpensive, drops right in no problem, and lasts a long time. The 14 has more cranking power then the original size which was the 12. Richard.

If the bike is not regularly used you may be better with a Ballistic battery. They are MUCH smaller than lead acid and lose only 10% charge over 12 months without damage. There is space under the petrol tank to fit one.
For summer use only an 8 cell will do the job. Otherwise got a 12 cell and check the cold start method on YouTube.
Ballistic is far from cheap so if you don't need it's features get a cheap Chinese lead acid and replace every 2 years.
