Hi, does any else have a problem like mine ?
My newly installed Autocom works fine, bt dongle pairs up to my windows mobile 6.1 phone and will take incoming calls fine, however, once i've taken a call, and the line is dropped, my phone looses its pairing.

I also don't seem to be able to get it to dial out, despite setting up voice tags. The phone is using the headset bt setting

The only way to get it back is to switch off the bikes ignition, damn annoying.

I'm assuming its a setting in the phone, but despite being tech headed, i can't figure out what it is....:blast

Unfortunately there is not settings on the phone that can be changed, the problem is normally down to differences in Bluetooth software between your phone and our dongles which does happen with some of smarter personal organizer style phones.

Hmm, i feared there was something going, as it will voice call out as normal, but not through the mic on the headset.

Looks like i'll have to dig out an old 'dumb' phone for longer journeys then. :)

I've taken the speakers out of their fittings and installed them behind the fabric in the cheekpads of my Aria for comfort, following a link on here. Congratulations to your Autocam boys, the buggers were well silicon'ed in around the cables.

All in all, its good kit !

Thanks for the reply anyway. :beerjug:

No worries at all, speaker wise the hot glue hold the speaker cables tight onto the cradles to save them getting pulled or becoming loose.

Strange as my WM6.1 phone seems to work fine and maintain a connection without problem. However there are many different BT implementations used by the different manufacturers.

Mine doesn't work with the Kenwood unit in the car though!

Mine's a HTC Diamond Touch, running 6.1.

The main problem i have, it appears, it that to call out using voice tags you have to be running the Voice Speed Dial programme, which times out after 10 seconds or so and then drop out. As you have to select & run this from the screen its a problem when your riding !

I'm contemplating using an older phone and just plugging it in......:blast
