Could be SPC, could be Sawbridgeworth.
I get a quote in writing, and make them ring me for everything over that. The dealer who services my wifes Subaru doesnt understand why he has to ring up to fit a new bulb, but he has to, and he does.
Long gone are the days (Balderstons, 1996) when I just left a BMW with a dealer and didn't insist on a quotation up front.
Still, your bill does surprise even me. £300 for the tyres, maybe £50 for an MOT (assorted odds and sods labour) assuming no parts, so over £100 to reconnect the earth lead seems high.
What exactly was needed to get the MOT?

king hell ; i got 4 yokohama tyres fitted to my p*****e, balanced etc etc, for £510; and they'll last me 10k with track days.
