Quite a lot, if you go for the Luftmeister conversion.

I recall reading about the above bike. Luftmeister (a now defunct US tuning company despite the name) decided to use the K1 for an attempt on the Production bike speed record.

Memory fades but they bolted on a turbo, got good results and then decided to strip the motor to see what, if any, stresses the turbo put on it. They reported none and that they found the engine to be massively over-engineered. They estimated that it was good for at least 200,000 (we know now that is an underestimate).

They then bolted on the biggest turbo that they could find and had to add a second set of injectors as the first couldn't cope with the demand on their own.

IIRC, they did take the record, I don't know how long it stood.

Luftmeister used to make some nice stuff for the old 2-Valve Boxers.

My initial reaction to the first bike was but the more I look at it the more I like it. I just don't like the headlamp treatment. It would look much better with two small round headlamps in that cowl.

Number two shows what can be done with minimal changes. The bike is a 16-Valve RS minus the fairing/headlamp and a new tail unit/seat. What always spoils such efforts is the radiator/thermostat is ugly. An early K100C radiator cover would help (but they seem to be very rare).

The third one is a much more serious conversion. The owner has posted some of the work in detail over on AdvRider:

I like some things about it but it's one man's vision and thankfully we're not all the same.

I'm guessing that lives here in Oz (RHD outfit covered in red dust with mahoosive esky (coolbox) for beer and 20+L jerrycan for a pannier (it's a LONG way between some roadhouses here)).

Definitely the property of someone individual!

Nawww, half of the tupperware needs to come off the back end.....Maybe including those rear gills, then it would be.....rather nice actually (needs the seat hump removing, I've never seen one I like and it ruins the lines)

It would look a little like mine in fact, which we all know is one of the finest and best conceived modded K bikes out there

I do admire the attention to detail but I'm not keen on his concepts - overly fussy for my taste - too much chrome (but that's very American. They do like their bling) and I've never understood his thing about adding a second dummy silencer.
