thats why noone bothers going daft in norway :D

that westinghouse old tat were made round the corner from here (literally - end of the road turn right go over the hill and bosh) a fair few years ago - then ironically got turned into GEC :D (the old mans worked for them since 67 :D)

loving the squiggly road at the end of the fjord

whens the next one and how much of yer wallet do they take for the ferries??

Ha ... we only saw one 'speed check' in 4,000 miles and they were clearly visible from a distance. The scenery is far too beautiful to be razzing through it, in towns the totty far too beautiful to be speeding ;)

The straight loop on the gps before the squiggles is the tunnel :eek:

The ferries varied in cost but were about ten to fifteen quid each time, but with, if you're hugging the coastline, twenty plus ferries required on our trip, it can tot up ....

I'm actively considering the ferry to the Faroes and Iceland next year.
 
Great read that. I was supposed to be heading to Vietnam with some mates next year, but can't do the dates. Will have to look at a trip to Norway instead of the usual European jaunt.
