I had an Abletronics Absolute Pro alarm fitted today. (Blood loud with its two sirens). tlwas useful experience because the man had to take the tank off and it gave me an opportunity to have a good look at all the bits normally hidden from view. What a battery!!!!!!!!!!!!! Big enough to start the QE2!
Anyway, I noticed, that since my ride on Tuesday when I met horizontal driving downpour, the main beam lens has acquired a misty layer on the inside surface.
Do they all do this? Or is there somewhere that water can leak into what I took to be a sealed unit. I mean, the screw cap on the rear of the housing seems tight enough, and I can't see that water could have got in that way? Do I need to smear Vaseline around to seal things up?
Help would be appreciated.
