Just look through them ya lazy cnut.Huv ye got a sore heid the day after the virtual Hogroast ,ye were playin some shitey records come tae think so wis I.:o

Isn't it an import (side reflectors on fork legs)?

I know it makes no practical difference, but if it is then I think the advert should really mention this. It would place a question mark over issues like mileage etc which should really be addressed up front.

....and every other model from 1974 - 85.

Oi Avro
Ain't it about time you became a Subscribed Tosser ???:D
I know who you are :augie and you know more than me about Airheads..:rob.
I won't let on tho' if you still want to stop in the background :thumb2

I'd also like your opinion on Sycos new bike, the '85 PD rep :)

It'll go for £2000 I would guess.

Seems a tidy enough bike but can't see it fetching anymore than that.

:clap£150 out, that's not bad :clap

Proff, I'll give ya £40 for the Paralever, ya know I'm right about the price.

Ok so I might be £150 out, I'll give ya £190

I bought one last week and I thought I paid to much for it ,that is why I was watching that bike to see what it made ,put my mind at rest roughly the same value.

Actually the R90s 1975 model had horrid side reflectors fitted just below rear of seat, as well as the front forks, most were removed on PDI inspections :augie
My one still had them in 1978, till I removed them
heres a couple pic of GG's old [brand new at the time]1975 90s with both sets fitted..
I've never seen another pic with both sets of reflectors still fitted

Err, no. That's not correct. UK R90s', for example, do not have the side reflectors.

All R90S machines had fork reflectors as standard.
All R80/7 machines had fork reflectors as standard.
All twin cylinder machines betweem 1974 and 1985 had them as standard.
They were an option on old twins after 1985 and K series machines, where they were carried in black plastic holders.

Models 1974-1981, except R45/65, had reflectors in chrome carriers and models after 1981 (and all R45/65 twinshock machines) had them fitted into recesses in the fork slider casting. The fork sliders fitted to the to the R80G/s are identical to all other models 1981-1985 with the exception of the R45/65 and R80ST which share another common slider.

The reflectors in chrome carriers are now deleted as a new part so used ones in good condition carry a premium. The chrome tends to bubble up.

The reflectors on pre 1981 machines are often not present in factory pre-production and brochure shots, I dont know why they just aren't.
