So, shall we do teh Riverside one more time or find somewhere else? It's one thing losing Alesha from behind the bar but if the pies are bad, that's a whole new subject

The Feathers was always OK which is slightly closer to Much Wenlock. The moped racing was excellent though eh Vern

Anyway, what are the collective thoughts?

Pop into the Feathers on the way up,and ask if we can drink their beer and eat their food once a month

I seem to remember talking to them about camping on the field there one night as well

We took both the 1100's for their MOT's on Saturday.

On the way there I noticed her lights weren't on, so I said on the radio "Turn your lights on Lu".

"Are they on now?" came the reply.

"No" says I.

"What about now?" she said.

They still weren't working so I was thinking oh bugger that will be a fail then.

A few moments later I hear "are they on now?"

"Ah they're working now, what was wrong" says I.

Lu's reply was a classic... "I was moving the dip/main switch up and down, I forgot about the switch on the right to turn them on".

Nor me. Got as far as Shrewsbury and decided the bikes reluctance to change down the gears was a signal to go back home. Changing the oil in preparation for the Wee-kend seems to have made things worse.

The pub is OK but, it's a bit expensive and not that friendly to be honest and the last straw was the kids on the gaming machines where we were sitting. Good job Vern didn't have a hammer anywhere close
