What a Great program!!!! An Amazing part of the country ,you Guys are so lucky having that scenerey on yer doorstep!! He went over to skye and I thought we'd see HRH but No!! Looks like an interesting six months on the west coast of Scotland ,must go in the summer!!:thumb

Just watched this, what a great advert for Scotland...wait a minute, that's not good. Don't come. Stay away, it rains all the time and the midges are terrible!. Nothing to see here. :eek:

Especially the native Scot, who seems to be almost extinct up there. :(

We have the same thing here on the west coast and in southwest Cork and Kerry, although thankfully not as bad as it seems in Scotland.

Braw :( Thanks to Monty Fuk's programme I think we can safely say we'll no' get near the campsite for wur Wigwambams weekend this year. It'll be full o' BBC2 viewers.

I was telling the other half it was just like that when we went to SKY part in 2007:), then looking at the map after program and found it's just across the water from johnny and tash:thumb,

I've been watching this with interest, I hope to be making the world a better place by causing havoc up there in April:thumb2
 
Did the Applecross thing last August and had a fantastic time, staying in a camping hut on the campsite.

Planned to go back again this year with SWMBO and was a bit hacked off that probably have no chance of getting a camping hut again following the publicity the area is getting via the TV rogram..

However

I sucessfully booked a week in July and there were (as at yesterday afternoon) plenty of camping hut availability. Guess they won't stay around for long though so I reckon if anyone fancies it it would pay them to get booked in sooner than later:oonyack
